About Nikki

Born and raised in the Northeast, Iā€™m not afraid of snow and love a good shoreline. I spent most of my childhood chasing leaves in the idyllic New England fall and basking in the temperate sun come summer.

After graduating college in the Midwest, where I had the good fortune of excellent writing teachers and ample inspiration, I returned to the East Coast for law school. I now live and work as a lawyer in the greater Washington DC area with a pandemic puppy and too many houseplants.

I identify as a black queer millennial woman, and I write about black queer women navigating the intricacies of relationships and identity.
